Recently the entrance to Link Way has been resurfaced and we have installed a pumping station and Rising Main at Upton. The catalyst for the installation of the rising main was the requirement of one of our largest occupiers, Highway Care Ltd, to increase their staffing levels to 10. This necessitated two 14m Portacabin units being brought into their compound to provide canteen and welfare facilities.
The new Rising Main replaces an obsolete septic tank system and it means that all areas at Upton Business Centre can now connected to the public sewer. This will be advantageous to both current and future tenants as there are now no limits on the number of personnel on site.
